It’s the last tailgating weekend of the season. If there’s something you’ve been waiting to try on the grill, now’s the time, because you can never have too much food this Sunday. I still haven’t decided on what I’m making, so I’ll be braving the crowds at the grocery store later today.

If you’re looking for a peak at where Weber thinks their business is going, their financial forecast was buried in an SEC filing. It was part of the process they went through in recent months when they decided to take on more debt and go private. It’s pretty rare for a forecast to be made publicly available like that, and it’s great data for anyone in the industry.

The product releases keep coming. Nexgrill has released so many new products that it’s hard to keep up. While they released a gas offset combo called the Oakford 1150 Pro recently, they also just released a non-Pro version that’s a conventional offset smoker.

For anyone that wants a vertical smoker that can run for a week, Nexgrill has you covered. They released a vertical pellet smoker with an 80 lb hopper. That’s not a typo. If you want to make some pizzas while smoking all that meat, they have a new pizza oven that’s not the Ora. It has similar specs, but with the addition of an electronic ignitor, a feature I’m a big fan of.

Solo Stove released a larger version of their Mesa tabletop fire pit, called the Mesa XL. Pretty much any size fire pit you need, Solo Stove has it now. To go with the Mesa and the XL, they released marshmallow sticks and tools sized specifically for it.

Char-Griller came out with an updated version of the Super Pro charcoal grill. It got some larger rubber wheels and a front shelf to add to its useability. It’s a good option for an inexpensive charcoal grill.

Finally, while Blackstone didn’t release any new products this week, a patent came out that shows some ideas they have for combo grills. One drawing has a griddle and a pizza oven together on one cart, while the others are for variations of a pellet grill and griddle combo. They’ve never released a pellet grill, but they do have another patent out there for one.
