We’ve seen efforts recently by outdoor companies to expand their aesthetics from just plain looking black and silver. Bridging the gap from functional products into décor items, examples we’ve seen include Gozney’s Yellow Roccbox and the Weber Lumin in a variety of colors.

Solo Stove has long supported personalization with colorways, and collegiate logos on their smokeless fire pits. They’ve now it a step further with offering individual custom etching.

They offered etching in the past, but it was limited to large corporate orders. As we’ve noted previously, Solo Stove believes there’s a large market for personalization.

WE CONTINUE TO INNOVATE AND EXPAND OUR PERSONALIZATION ABILITIES, WHICH WE BELIEVE WILL BE A LARGE MARKET OPPORTUNITY FOR US.

The new custom etching option is available as an add-on when purchasing any fire pit they offer, from the tabletop Mesa all the way up to the giant Yukon. The price varies by fire put size, but is a nominal amount.

Solo Stove’s configurator allows you to add up to two lines of custom text, with each being up to 16 characters long. Adding custom etching increases the processing lead time by 1-2 weeks.
