Big Green Egg has a new president. Dan Gertsacov has been appointed to the newly created role of the nearly 50-year old grill brand. He will focus on continuing to build the marketing, omni-channel, business operations, retail, and IT technologies functions.

Pizza oven maker Gozney has had an eventful year. They got a new CEO last January, and now they are moving their headquarters. They aren’t going far though, they’re staying in Dorset, UK where they were founded. The new space gives them 12,000 square feet for a content studio, and R&D.

Weber has a clever new ad campaign that focuses on people that have run well-known cons. The AI generated images are tagged with phrases like “some sell smoke, we sell experience”. The ads are set to run on social media in some international markets.

Finally, Ace Hardware plans to keep opening new stores at a high pace throughout the rest of 2023. They’ve already opened 100 new stores this year, and they plan to open another 70. Over the past five years, they’ve opened an incredible 1,100 stores globally.
