The Good Charcoal Partners with Pat LaFrieda on Creative Distribution Model

The Good Charcoal, a mission focused charcoal brand, has continued to increase their distribution. Recently, they released a new briquette product with Lowe’s Home Improvement, and now they have another creative distribution model.

They’ve partnered with the most well known butcher, Pat LaFrieda Meat Purveyors, to bring to The Good Charcoal to restaurants with their meat order. It’s part of The Good Charcoal’s 2024 strategy to expand their reach into new retail opportunities nationwide.

We are excited to offer new retailers and restaurants access to the best charcoal. This partnership is the best next step – Pat LaFrieda and his team don’t compromise on quality, but focus on distributing the best meat for the best restaurants. And now, these restaurants can also get the best charcoal delivered.

This new collaboration aligns in both values and mission, given Pat LaFrieda’s work with small domestic farms from across the country to ensure restaurants receive the highest quality all-natural, pasture raised meats.

The Good Charcoal came on the scene in 2020, and offers 100% chemical-free acacia charcoal sourced in Namibia and South Africa. Acacia burns hotter and more evenly than other hardwood like oak or hickory.

I’m thrilled to partner with The Good Charcoal Company to offer our restaurant customers the highest quality fuel. The Good Charcoal Company shares our values and passion for great product, in both sourcing and execution. The partnership is a natural fit for us.

It’s a creative partnership in that it continues to give The Good Charcoal more distribution, while offering a quality and essential product to restaurants. It’s also a different growth market for The Good Charcoal instead of the traditional retail distribution network.
