Solo Stove, the company most known for their smokeless fire pits and pizza ovens, has announced that it will participate in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade this year. For the 97th annual, iconic parade, Solo Stove will have an “Igniting Memories” float that depicts an outdoor campfire scene.
We’re thrilled to partner with the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade on the first ever Solo Stove float, designed to inspire people everywhere to gather with friends and family. Solo Stove loves bringing people together to reconnect around a great fire and we’re excited to bring exactly that to a national audience during a season of gratitude and gathering.John Merris, President & CEO of Solo Stove
The outdoor campfire scene on the float, of course, has a Solo Stove Bonfire as the centerpiece. The RV at the campsite was custom built by Macy’s Studios to sit on the float wheels. It gives a seamless appearance to the campsite scene.
The Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade and Solo Stove are synonymous with memories and togetherness. This November, Parade fans across the country will feel the warmth and coziness emanating from this beautiful float.Jordan Dabby, producer of Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade
The Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade will air nationwide in the U.S on NBC and Peacock, on Thursday, November 23, 2023, from 9 a.m. to noon in all time zones. If you’d like to see the float in-person, Solo Stove is running a sweepstakes to win a trip to NYC to attend the parade.
Solo Stove has a history of creative marketing campaigns. Cozy bonfires are perfect for the fall and winter, so last year there was a streaming channel dedicated to a Solo Stove Bonfire holiday scene.
