If you’re looking for Blackstone griddle accessories and want a pizza oven, then you’re in luck. Blackstone Products, the maker of the popular Blackstone Griddle, announced on Instagram today that they have released a new pizza oven conversion kit for the 22″ tabletop griddle. The pizza oven is sold exclusively through Walmart (link goes to the product page) and there are limited quantities, so act fast if you want one.

The pizza oven will trap in heat of up to 700 degrees F on a 22″ Blackstone griddle, to give you a nice crust. Pizza can bake in as little as 2.5 minutes, so you don’t have to wait long to enjoy. Below are the specs and features.

  • Works with tabletop 22″ Blackstone griddles
  • Retails for $220.35
  • Cooks up to a 15″ pizza
  • Includes 1 round and 1 rectangular cordierite pizza stones
  • Built in thermometer
  • Weighs 50 lbs
  • You must convert your fuel on your griddle to a 20 lb propane tank

Blackstone is focused on developing new technology and product lines. They also used to offer a standalone pizza oven called the Patio Oven. While there was a loyal following, the product was discontinued, with no indication of when another one will be released.

For consumers looking for pizza ovens there’s no shortage of options. Beyond this option for the Blackstone griddle, Solo Stove released a dual fuel oven in March, the Gozney Dome is now available in the US and Traeger announced a pizza oven accessory for their new Timberline grill.

Update 6/3/22: Blackstone appears to be releasing a new pizza oven in the near future.
