Weber Appoints New General Counsel in Continued Leadership Changes

If you’re looking to get in touch with leadership at Weber, chances are you need to update your contacts. General Counsel and Secretary just joined the long list of Executive Management jobs with turnover. Outgoing General Counsel and Secretary Phil Zadeik retired and Erik Chalut was appointed to replace him effective October 1st, 2022 according to an SEC filing.

According to Weber’s Executive Management page the only executive with over 11 months in their current role is CFO Bill Horton. He was CFO through Weber’s IPO, and still has some time left on his 3-year employment agreement from July 2021. Not that employment agreements have stood in the way of other departures this year.

Erik Chalut’s bio from Weber’s website lists that he was the Deputy General Counsel of Weber from August 2021 to September 2022. Prior to Weber, he was at Kellogg Company and in private practice before that.
