Smart ovens had a moment around 2020 where they were gaining in popularity and looked like they could be a cooking mainstay. To keep up with the technology, Weber bought June ovens and Middleby bought Brava.

Both June and Brava made nice products that people liked but there wasn’t enough of a market for them to stick around. Weber ended up killing June, and Middleby sold off Brava with the rest of their residential brands, then Brava was shuttered by the new owner.

Those brands going under may have cleared the way for a new attempt at a smart oven by Brisk It. They’re a newer brand that has been focused on making tech-forward pellet grills that are powered by AI. They utilize AI in things like recipe building and cook instructions to make their grills easier to use.

Brisk It is bringing their AI technology indoors with the new Neoma AI Multi-function Oven that they previewed at CES this year. It picks up where the other ovens left off.

What separates the Neoma oven from others is it’s focused on health goals and convenient meal planning. It takes it a step further than just being a cooking device through it’s AI technology.

Neoma takes your health goals, builds weekly meal plans, and generates Instacart shopping lists. It will generate a weeks worth of AI generated meals for you to cook. The actual cooking process is made easier too by being able to be controlled from anywhere with the Brisk It app.

The regular connected features and cooking works no matter what. If users want the AI features, they have to pay for a subscription. Those include the following.
