His extensive focus on consumer product experience, technical excellence, and his ability to bring industry-leading products to market, make him uniquely qualified to introduce a new level of product development execution to Traeger. In his engineering role, he’ll serve as the leader of product development and technical execution. That’s a crucial function for Traeger who is as much a tech company as they are a grill company. Their latest new products include the Ironwood pellet grill which offers phone connected grilling or by touchscreen.
I’m incredibly excited to join Traeger and to help the company achieve its next phase of growth and maturity. Traeger has built an incredible brand and I very much look forward to bringing more people together through these innovative productsBrendan Welch, EVP of Engineering at Traeger
Much like Traeger CEO Jeremy Andrus, who came from Skullcandy, Brendan Welch also comes from the audio tech world. He spent more than 20 years at Bose and most recently Sonos.
