Blackstone branched out into pellet grills a little over a year ago with a pellet grill and griddle combo. Since then, they’ve continued releasing pellet grills with the 900 pellet grill.
Blackstone is now expanding their line-up with the Bronco. It comes as a standalone 3-burner, 28” griddle, a massive 44” griddle, which looks cool in its own right, or as a combo 3-burner griddle with a vertical pellet smoker. It’s an interesting combination because you have hot and fast griddling on one side and low and slow barbecue on the other.
New Burner Design
The vertical smoker isn’t the only new feature of the Bronco Series. The griddles have Blackstone’s Omnivore griddle plate, and high performance burners that give better edge to edge coverage.
The new burners ditch the traditional tubes for a rectangular design. You can see from the picture that they cover more area with flame for better performance.

Vertical Pellet Smoker
The vertical pellet smoker on the Bronco also has nice features. The controller has a color screen that connects to your phone with the Blackstone app.
It has four probe ports and two included probes to keep an eye on your food. The pellet hopper is on the back, with a viewing window, to give the smoker a clean look.
