Somerset Grill Co, known for their modular outdoor kitchens and asado grills, has expanded more into outdoor living. They released three new outdoor living products that use the same build principles as their outdoor kitchens. That means lots of beautiful Cor-Ten steel.
The three new products are a fire pit, a fireplace, and a bench, all made from Cor-Ten. They’re handmade in the UK, and ship to Europe. Unfortunately, they don’t ship to US.
Outdoor Woodburner
The Cor-Ten Outdoor Woodburner is perfect for some heat and a mesmerizing fire whenever you need it. It has glass on all four sides, so you can see the fire from any seating position.
There’s a chimney up top that draws the smoke up and away from your face, for a more enjoyable fire experience. Bolting on the chimney is the only assemble required when it ships.
Underneath the fire, there’s a removable ash pan that also helps with draw for starting the fire in addition to making cleaning easier. The base features log storage.
The Woodburner, which retails for £2,995, is built to last. The steel is 4mm thick (about 5/32″), comes pre-weathered, and can be left outside all year.
Firepit
Somerset built the Firepit at a good height for the fire to be elevated but low enough to throw off some heat for the people around it. To help more on that front, it has a fire brick base to store as much heat as possible.
No space goes wasted with log storage underneath the fire pit. Like the Woodburner, it’s made from pre-weathered Cor-Ten steel.
The steel on the Firepit is 3mm thick for longevity. Speaking of which, it carries a 20-year warranty.
Bench
The final piece of the new outdoor living line-up is a Cor-Ten steel bench that matches the other pieces. One difference though, is the bench has a stainless steel top.
It has useable storage underneath it, so there’s no shortage of wood for long fires. It retails for £695, and carries a 20-year warranty.
