We’re deep into earnings season now, so we get a snapshot of how everyone did prior to the start grilling season. Traeger and Solo Brands flipped places from last quarter, as Traeger had a good quarter but Solo Brands disappointed on revenue and noted supply chain challenges for its pizza oven (it’s backordered by 2 months).
We started off the week on an exciting note with Blackstone’s new griddle and air fryer combo. An easier way to make burgers and fries won’t help us with our weight loss goals, but it’s a cool looking product, so the six pack will have to wait another year. We also took a look at how Dansons is working with the state and local government in Oregon to expand their pellet operations. Hopefully they’ll get it producing in 2022.
