Paradise Grills Recalls 18,000 Outdoor Kitchens for Gas Build-Up

Ocoee, Florida based outdoor kitchen manufacturer, Paradise Grills, has issued a voluntary safety recall on outdoor kitchens sold between January 2009 and December 2020. In the affected grills, liquid propane gas can accumulate in the closed grill lid and cabinets causing an explosion when the grill is relit.

Consumers should stop using the recalled grills immediately and contact Paradise Grills to receive a new vent to be installed on the outdoor kitchen. The recall is estimated to be applicable to around 18,000 units.

For consumers in Florida, Texas, Georgia and Alabama, they should contact Paradise Grills to schedule a date for a free repair. The repair includes the part and for service.

For consumers located in other states, they should contact Paradise Grills to receive the free vent. The consumer then will need to find their own technician for the install. Paradise Grills will provide reimbursement for the installation cost.
