Made In Releases New Seasoned and Lathed Cast Iron Pans

Cast iron is the ideal material to cook with outdoors. It retains heat, it’s rugged, and it will last forever. From open fire cooking to searing on a pellet grill, it’s versatile.

Perfect for their new grill, Made In released a new line of cast iron pans. They’re a popular brand because their quality cookware stands up to the demands of restaurant kitchens, and the new cast iron stays true to that.

They released cast iron pans in three different sizes, 8-inch for $129 (check price), 10-inch for $149 (check price), and 12-inch for $199 (check price). You can also buy a set of all three at a 10% discount for $429 (check price).

While these pans are new, Made In has some experience with cast iron. Previously, they made enameled cast iron that was great for outdoor cooking, even doing a collab with Traeger.

Smooth Finish

People associate a rough finish with cast iron but it doesn’t have to be that way. You can make it smooth like a stainless steel pan through a more advanced casting process or through machining it after it’s cast.

Made In machines their cast iron pans after they’re cast to help with the non-stick properties and to make the pans lighter. That takes away the primary downsides of cast iron, it also makes a beautiful looking pan.

They also finish the pans in organic flaxseed, so they arrive to you pre-seasoned and ready to cook. The pan will continue to season as you cook with it.

Another nice characteristic of the Made In cast iron pans is they’re manufactured in the USA. They put together this cool video of the manufacturing process at a facility in Tennessee.
