Lowe’s is Hosting a Product Pitch Event for Prospective Suppliers

Do have the next great grill or grill accessory that’s ready for distribution? If so, Lowe’s has an opportunity you won’t want to miss. From the success of last year’s event, they’re bringing back their Into the Blue product pitch event.

It’s a tight timeline to enter, as entries must be received before midnight EST on March 20, 2023 to be eligible. Selected entrepreneurs and businesses will be invited to an in-person event for an opportunity to pitch Lowe’s directly on June 13th, 2023, with the hope of becoming a Lowe’s supplier.

Last year about 1,400 small businesses applied, with about 325 making it to the in-person event. There were several rounds of pitch meetings in-person, with a final round being attended by Lowe’s executives, including Bill Boltz, Executive Vice President of Merchandising.

There’s all these folks out there that are trying to get their foot in the door at Lowe’s, trying to find their way to get on our website, but didn’t know how to do it. We’ve now provided a simpler path to that process. Ultimately it should end up with new stuff on our shelves or on Lowes.com, and that’s what I’m excited about.

Other than the opportunity to end-up on store shelves, the event last year featured supplier fairs and educational speakers.

For the event, Lowe’s is looking for product suppliers, not service suppliers. The products also need to be ready for market.
