American Outdoor Brands (AOB), the company that recently acquired grill maker Grilla Grills, reported fiscal Q4 2022 results after market close today. During the call, they gave a peek into how Grilla Grills is doing and their vision for the brand.
On the earnings conference call, CEO Brian Murphy had the following important details to say about Grilla Grills.
- They are performing ahead of plan
- There will be new product launches this fall
- There will be a major product launch next spring
While no specifics were given on the new products, it’s exciting to see AOB follow through with investing in the brand.

- Rapidly growing, “sticky” audience
- Disruptive new product pipeline
- Recurring revenue base growth
- Untapped distribution
They see growth opportunities for the brand in new categories and new consumer markets. As a refresher, Grilla Grills was at $15 million in revenue at the time of acquisition, so getting to $100 million is no small task.
