Fire Magic Brings Electric Grilling to Outdoor Kitchens with 240v Power

Electric grilling continues to get better and better, we’re seeing that with the recently released Current Backyard Model G. While Current is the best option for many consumers, those looking for a high-end built-in option should take a look at the new Fire Magic EL500 electric grill by RH Peterson Co.

Our EL500 electric grill is one of a kind, delivering taste profiles you would expect from a high-performance gas grill. Our decades of grilling experience have resulted in the design and manufacture of an electric grill without compromise.

Jerry Scott, Senior Vice President of Sales at RH Peterson Co.

Features and Specs

While Fire Magic is known for their drool-worthy built-in gas grills, the electric grill shares many of the same features.

  • Max temp of 700 degrees for quick searing, with a 15-minute preheat time
  • Touchscreen control that’s thermostatic, so you can dial-in the cooking temperature you want to cook at
  • Comes in single and dual zone models
  • Connects to your phone through WiFi and Bluetooth
  • 304 stainless steel construction, so you know it will look and work great for years to come
  • 480 square inches of cooking space
  • Stainless steel cooking grates

240 Volt Power

To help the Fire Magic Electric Grill keep-up with gas grills that normally found in outdoor kitchen is addition power. Unlike a normal outlet on your house, this runs off 240 volt power. Those are the outlets that are used to power an electric range or a clothes dryer. That extra power equals extra performance.

Kitchen and Bath Industry Show

The Fire Magic Electric Grill can be seen at the Kitchen and Bath Industry Show (KBIS) happening this week in Las Vegas. It’s the second grill company that we’re aware of that’s displaying their products at the show. Middleby has many products there, including Josper, which will be making its way to the US market.
