Solo Stove Releases the Infinity Flame, their First Propane Fire Pit

Solo Stove is getting back to what made their brand so popular. That’s through releasing new innovations that you want for your backyard.

The most notable releases this year include a new cooler/AC unit, a new smokeless wood fire pit, and a unique griddle. They’ve just added to that impressive haul with a different way to enjoy a fire in your backyard.

They’ve released the Infinity Flame propane fire pit. It’s a unique product for the brand because it’s the first time they’ve released a fire pit that isn’t wood fueled.

Features and Specs

  • Retail price of $599.99 (check price)
  • Produces 72,000 BTUs
  • Lasts about 5.5 hours on one 20 lb propane tank
  • Works with propane only, not natural gas

Signature Flame

Solo Stove announced this week that they patented their Signature Flame. Despite this fire pit being propane, they promise a Signature Flame experience just like on their wood fire pits.

The flame that Solo Stove is talking about is a roaring flame in the middle, with flames coming out of the inside rim near the top of the fire pit from the secondary burn. There’s no secondary burn here because it’s a gas fire pit, but they’ve recreated the look.

The burners are unique on this fire pit because it has the flames the are produced around top of the inside, and they have another burner in the middle. To create that dancing flame effect, the middle section has disc with holes throughout it, rather than concentrated in tube burners like other gas fire pits.

A gas fire pit isn’t for everybody, but Solo Stove did a good job of replicating the look of a natural wood burning fire. Plus, gas is much more convenient than wood, meaning you’ll have bonfire nights more often.
