Outdoor Brands, LLC is ramping up their distribution this year and building out the infrastructure to support it. Not only are they bringing their brands to more consumers through Costco Roadshows, they’re adding more channels to access their products.
As we enter the 2026 season, we are executing against a clear strategy, expanding fuel distribution, deepening retail partnerships and investing in infrastructure that supports scale. This is part of a broader roadmap focused on sustained growth and delivering products that meet the evolving needs of both our retail partners and consumers.

Pit Boss has extensive pellet production capabilities. Other companies have moved away from making their own pellets, while Pit Boss has stuck with it. I’m glad too because they’re my go-to pellet because of their variety and cost effectiveness.
Pit Boss is bringing pellets to more consumers by expanding their retail distribution. Kroger will begin carrying them in mid-March, which adds more distribution through the grocery channel and brings significantly more and diverse brand exposure.
That’s not the only fuel and grocery news for Pit Boss. They’re also launching a charcoal product.
Pit Boss has built a strong reputation for producing high-quality wood pellet fuel. Our pellets are made from 100% all-natural hardwood sourced from North American forests and never contain artificial flavors, spray scents, glues, or chemicals. The hardwood is compressed under extreme heat and held together by the wood’s natural lignin, producing clean, flavorful smoke with minimal ash for an authentic wood-fired grilling experience.
Building on that same commitment to quality and performance, we’re excited to now extend the Pit Boss fuel lineup with our all-natural hardwood lump charcoal. Made from a premium blend of oak, hickory, and mesquite, it delivers consistent heat and rich wood-fired flavor for a superior grilling experience.
Pit Boss Representative
They’ve begun selling Pit Boss charcoal at Publix grocery stores. Publix is a grocery chain in the southeast, so Pit Boss is making big moves in grocery with their fuel. I’ll be interested to see what the reception to their new charcoal is and if they expand it to online or other retailers.
Publix also has some delicious subs (Pub Subs), so pick up an Italian when you get a bag of Pit Boss charcoal for a snack while grilling.
Larger Warehouse and HQ
Beyond growing their retailers, Outdoor Brands, LLC is also expanding their warehousing and office space to support growth. They’ve doubled the size of their Brantford, Ontario warehouse to expand capacity and reach across Canada.
They’ve also opened a new 10,000 square-foot Commercial Center in Scottsdale, AZ for product innovation, retail planning, and merchandising. The new facility is is designed to accelerate speed-to-market and deepen collaboration with retail partners.
