True Residential and Caliber came together through a joint venture in 2025 with a focus on exceptional design and engineering. Through that partnership they launched the Rockwell Social Grill, a grill that was envisioned by designer David Rockwell.

This year, they expanded the Rockwell Social Grill collection to include other cooking types and styles. One constant thread through the whole collection though is the grill is a social gathering place.

The grills all feature a slick lid design that rolls and disappears when it’s opened. This facilitates conversation at any angle of the grills.

The two new additions to the collection are a freestanding grill, and a drop-in griddle. Both with the same style and large array of customization options that caused people to love the original.

The Signature Rockwell was designed to fulfill both the aesthetic and essential needs of the modern grilling experience, combining performance, versatility, and user-focused design. The new freestanding unit introduces unprecedented flexibility—whether serving as a stationary focal point or moving effortlessly on smooth-gliding casters, it extends beyond the traditional outdoor kitchen footprint to become a dynamic social hub that adapts to the flow of any luxury environment.

Freestanding Model

The freestanding Rockwell Social Grill makes a statement at five feet long with a solid sapele wood base. It looks like a furniture piece as much as it does a grill.

It has 666 square inches of cooking space to grill for a large group of people. The grilling power comes from three 20,000 BTU stainless steel Crossflame™ burners.

The freestanding model debuted in the signature crimson color but it’s available 15 colors and 6 different hardware options. Some of the colors are matte too for a different look. If those aren’t enough color options, they also will color match.

Griddle

Outdoor cooking on a Rockwell isn’t limited to grilling, they also are releasing a griddle. It has the same disappearing lid and comes in 42″ or 48″ models and can be fueled with propane or natural gas.

The griddle body is handcrafted from marine grade aluminum, like the rest of the Rockwell collection. It also has stainless steel construction for durability.

To match any outdoor kitchen, the griddle comes in 16 different colors, 6 different hardware options, and they offer color matching.
