Ooni Volt 2 Sells in Australia, Solo Stove Rebrands Terraflame, and More

We always want to bring all the news to help make sense of the outdoor cooking industry. Some news doesn’t have enough meat to warrant a full article, but it’s still important.

We’ve rounded up some different things happening into one article covering what’s new.

Ooni Sells the Volt 2 in Australia

Ooni released the Volt 2 recently, a redesign of their electric pizza oven. It’s pretty much better in every way from the Volt, and it’s cheaper.

They’ve now brought the oven to the Australian market. They started selling it there on Ocotober 1st.

Pizza has become a staple in Australian homes, and this launch takes that love of pizza to the next level, giving Australians everywhere the opportunity to perfect their pizza game.

The Volt 2 makes it possible to create incredible pizza indoors, all year round. It brings together power, precision and ease of use, so whether you are just starting out or already experimenting with different styles, you can enjoy consistently great results without leaving the kitchen.

Solo Stove Updates

Solo Stove has a couple updates as they continue to turn around their company. They’re now relisted on the stock market, and are continuing to make changes.

They sold Terraflame back to its original owners earlier this year but signed an exclusive deal for Terraflame products with the sale. The Terraflame brand is essentially no more. The website just redirects to Solo Stove.

Solo Stove has begun selling original Terraflame products under the Solo Stove brand. I spotted the following stack of indoor fire pits at Costco.

When Solo Stove was trying to reduce costs at the beginning of the year, they focused on marketing. They had expensive marketing efforts that included celebrity collaborations.

A casualty of their change in marketing strategy is their jersey branding partnership with the Islanders hockey team. Solo Stove ended their partnership and has been replaced by a pharmaceutical company.

In conjunction with the two year anniversary of the founding of the company, the Camp Chef parent company Revelyst has started the Revelyst Gives Foundation. They also announced the first two grands from the foundation, Warriors & Quiet Waters and Folds of Honor.

Revelyst Gives was born out of our belief that the power of the outdoors can heal, inspire and unite. Launching this foundation and awarding our first grants is a milestone moment. Warriors & Quiet Waters and Folds of Honor embody the values we want to champion—service, resilience and opportunity.

Diane Bristol, outgoing Board President of Revelyst

Warriors & Quiet Waters Foundation is a veteran’s service organization (VSO) and nonprofit committed to empowering post-9/11 combat veterans by providing therapeutic outdoor experiences and holistic support.

This grant from Revelyst covers all expenses for two Warriors to complete Warriors & Quiet Waters’ Built for More program. Together, we are ensuring that post-9/11 combat veterans receive the evidence-based tools and community support they need to live purposeful, resilient lives and serve as exemplars in their communities across our nation. We are incredibly grateful for Revelyst’s long-standing, transformative support of our mission.

Folds of Honor is an organization provides educational scholarships to the spouses and children of U.S. military service members and first responders who have fallen or been disabled while serving our country and communities.

This grant from Revelyst Gives is more than financial support—it’s a commitment to honoring the sacrifices of military families. Together, we are ensuring that the dreams of education and opportunity are not lost when a family bears the burden of service.
