More Weber Management Changes, Jennifer Bonuso named President, Americas

With Weber’s CEO out and 10% of their employees being cut, it appears that they’ve done other management restructuring. While there was no press release, Jennifer Bonuso has been named President, Americas for Weber.

She joined Weber in 2019 from Honeywell and Whirlpool, and was promoted to Senior Vice President and General Manager, Global Product of Weber. Her bio is as follows from Weber’s website.

Jennifer Bonuso was named President, Americas in August 2022. She previously served as Senior Vice President and General Manager, Global Product of Weber and as Weber’s Global Head of Product Management. Prior to joining Weber, Ms. Bonuso led the Global Consumer Business for the Honeywell/Resideo spin off. She also spent 11 years with Whirlpool working on the Jenn-Air, KitchenAid, Whirlpool, and Maytag brands, holding various leadership positions in product sales, marketing, consumer products business unit, and the innovation lab. Ms. Bonuso is the co-owner of five patents and began her career with Hormel Foods. Ms. Bonuso received a BA in Marketing from the University of Northern Iowa and an MBA from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.

While there was no announcement of his departure, Beau Warren previously held that role effective December 1, 2021. He took over the role from Troy Shay, who left to run Weber’s newly created venture capital division, 1952 Ventures.

Hopefully Jennifer Bonuso’s background in product and innovation will lead to more innovation out of Weber in the coming years.
