The brand Emberhaus came on the scene this year for the luxury outdoor cooking market with some fresh design and cooking chops. It’s a new venture from the founder of Kamado Joe, so despite being a new brand, it has some cooking pedigree.
Their first product was a charcoal oven, similar to what chefs use in commercial kitchens, but for home use. Next spring they plan to release a new product that brings a style of cooking not often found in a luxury outdoor kitchen.
Parrilla is Emberhaus’ take on a traditional Argentine style grill. What’s nice about it is it brings that style of cooking while maintaining the clean design style that people often want in outdoor kitchens. It also matches well with the Emberhaus Fire Oven, and with both products you can cook just about anything outside over live fire.
Emberhaus teased the new grill on their social media with an estimated release date of April 2026. All the designs are preliminary, so the final release could have changes.
The rendering currently show that there will be two different models, a standard size and an XL. The way they cook is there is a bed for hot coals that’s surrounded by fire bricks to retain heat.

Your food is placed above the coals, then with the help of a pulley, you can raise and lower the cooking grates to control the amount of heat hitting your food. You can also control the temperature of the fire with a vent system on the top and bottom of the grill. The XL model has two vents on the top for a two cooking zone setup.
It looks like you’ll have some different options when it comes to cooking surface. They show regular grates and also a griddle top.
It might only be with the XL model, but in one design image they show the cooking surface split into thirds. You can swap out each third with different cooking surfaces or with the addition of a brasero.

A brasero would be ideal for this cooker to add to the fun and convenience. It’s a rack used to hold burning firewood, and as the embers drop you can rake them under your cooking surface to use for heat.
I’ll be eagerly waiting to see this new product released. I like the design and the innovation they’re bringing to outdoor kitchens.
