Griddles are increasingly making their way into outdoor kitchens because they’re versatile and fun to cook on. The newest entrant to the category is one from American Outdoor Grill (AOG).

While it hasn’t made its way to their website yet, AOG announced it on their Instagram. It’s an expansion of their L-Series grills that they released at the beginning of the year.

We’ll see the official specs when the new griddle hits AOGs website, but from my research it looks like a 30″ griddle that will retail for around $3,798 in built-in configuration. It probably uses the same heavy duty 304 SS burners that the rest of the L-Series uses.

The grease management system looks like it’s in the front and it looks large, which will be nice for cooking. I like that they inset the griddle plate into the body to protect the heat from the elements.

The under body lighting gives a cool look to the griddle. On the rest of the L-Series, the lights are customizable, so we’ll see if that’s the case here.

It’s a good option for anyone looking for a built-in griddle for their outdoor kitchen. As you can see from the photo and video, you can also get it in a cart if you just want a really nice stand-alone griddle. I’m sure like the rest of AOGs products, it also will be made in the US.
