It wireless connects with your phone through Bluetooth and WiFi, so you can control your cook anywhere. It also has the flame broiler lever that Pit Boss grill are known for to give open fire cooking.
Despite the reasonable price tag, it has all the features you’d want. That’s before even getting to the griddle side.
Convenient Griddle
The griddle on the DX 1020 is 2-burner griddle with electric ignition for easy starting. It has enough space for dedicated griddle cooking for a couple or a small family.
Much like the pellet grill, it has the key features you’d want from a griddle. The biggest being a grease management system for easy cleaning during and after cooking.
In addition to being able to cook all the favorite griddle foods like fried rice and breakfast, it helps make up for any pellet grill shortcomings. Reverse searing steaks is really popular with pellet grills and the griddle side makes this a much easier procedure.

You can wait until your steak nearing temp, pre-heat the griddle, then go right from the pellet grill to the griddle to finish it off. There’s no messing with other grills or accessories.
It just unlocks a new level of versatility for cooking. Whether cooking separately or together, it’s nice having both tools available.
