Weber officially released their slate of 2026 grills and grill accessories today, and they didn’t disappoint. They brought some real innovation to their grills this year that Weber fans are sure to enjoy.

The most exciting innovation they released is smart grilling technology to their charcoal kettles. It works like we predicted, and the best part is, they have an accessory that will fit existing grills.

Kettle Smart Ring and Performer

The smart charcoal cooking technology is here in two different ways. The first is a ring that fits 22″ kettles and retails for $279.99 (check price).

It sits on the bottom half of the kettle with an air duct that goes into the bottom of the grill with your charcoal. You set the temperature on the controller on the side, and it does the rest.

It helps with heating up the grill quicker by forcing in air, and likewise, it controls temperature through controlling airflow with a fan. The controller has WiFi to allow for control and monitoring with the Weber app.

It’s really cool that Weber released this as an accessory. They could have just built it into a new grill and would have sold a bunch of them.

Giving compatibility to the countless charcoal Weber kettles out there will be much appreciated by people that already spent money on a grill. It’s an accessory that completely transforms the grill too.

For those looking for the best kettle grill and a more streamlined solution, Weber also released a 22″ Performer Premium Smart Charcoal Grill. It retails for $799.99 (check price) and has the smart technology built into the cart.

Wireless Probes

Another product that they released that we were expecting is a wireless temperature probe. The wireless probe category has been exploding with competition in the past couple years, but Weber’s version and the other temperature products have some nice features.

Their wireless probe with a booster carries a retail price of $114.99 (check price) which is competitive in the category. It can hand temperatures up to 790 degrees F, so it works for grilling. It can run for 24 hours off a charge for those long smokes.

You can also buy the probe without the booster for $69.99 (check price). What’s nice is the wireless probes can work with the controller on Gen 2 smart grills in addition to working just with the Weber app.

It’s not wireless, but Weber also released a Smart Hub Display and Booster, which works with wired probes but still connects to the Weber app. It’s a big temperature display, so it’s easy to keep an eye on your food without having to pull your phone out.

Personally, I cook with displays like this all the time and prefer them over using phone apps. A neat feature that Weber built into this one is it also can work with Gen 2 smart grills, so you can have a portable display for your grill. It retails for $89.99 (check price).

Other Products

Weber also released a bunch of other products today beyond the main ones I talked about above. You can see all of them through this link to their website.

Some other highights are a new Spirit gas grill with some smart features, and a Genesis with a sear zone that gets to 750 degrees F. Just know that when they talk about smart features on these grills they’re talking about reading temperatures but not digitally controlling temperatures.

They also released a whole bunch on Weber Works accessories to make cooking easier and more organized. They work with their new grills and I really like how Weber focuses on design with their accessories.

I think that Weber will still have a full-sized electric that they’ll release called Verve. I’ve heard a rumor though that it won’t be released in the US because it works better with the 220V outlets overseas.
