Traeger CFO Leaving as Part of a Planned Transition

Beyond Traeger’s usual updates in their earnings call yesterday they also announced a big change on their executive team. Dom Blosil, the CFO of Traeger, will be leaving the company as part of a planned transition.

Dom has been an extraordinary partner since my first days at Traeger and a driving force behind the company’s transformation and growth over the last 11 years. His leadership extended across the organization and has been instrumental in shaping and executing our long-term vision. Dom played a pivotal role in leading the company through its IPO in 2021 and building the world-class team and infrastructure that position us for continued success. On behalf of the Board of Directors and the Executive Leadership Team, I want to thank him for his leadership, strategic vision, and many contributions.

Dom Blosil will continue as CFO through the filing of the 10-Q for the companies first quarter at which point Joey Hord, Traeger’s SVP of Finance and Strategy will assume the role. Joey Hord has been at Traeger for over three years holding leadership roles in finance and strategy. Prior to Traeger, he spent 16 years at Nike in various leadership roles.

Joey has been an important leader on our finance team since joining Traeger in 2021, playing an integral role in driving our strategic and financial planning capabilities. His deep expertise and leadership make him well-prepared for this role, and we expect a seamless transition.

Dom Blosil has been with Traeger for 11 years, so it marks a major shift for the grill maker. He helped lead Traeger through their massive growth and through their IPO.

It has been a privilege to work alongside Jeremy and the incredible Traeger team over the past 11 years, and I am extremely proud of all that we have accomplished together. Traeger is a truly special brand—built on a disruptive product platform and a high-performing culture.

Joey has been a key partner of mine and is a highly capable successor who brings strong strategic and financial expertise to the CFO role. I have full confidence in his ability to step into this position and help lead Traeger into its next chapter.

Dom Blosil, CFO of Traeger

I’ve always enjoyed hearing his insights on Traeger’s earnings calls. He’s done a great job growing the brand, and I wish him success in his next chapter. He leaves Traeger in a good place with the post-Pandemic decline likely past them, and grill sales returning to growth.
