Charbroil Recalls Bistro Pro Electric Grills for Ground Wire Issue

Charbroil issued a voluntary recall for the Bistro Pro electric grill. The recall impacts about 10,605 units sold in the US and an additional 342 sold in Canada.

The ground wire for the heating element in the grill can disconnect, lose fault protection, and pose an electric shock hazard. To remedy the issue, Charbroil is sending owners a repair kit to fix the problem. They are also offering a $25 gift card that works at select retailers for consumers that provide photo documentation of the completed repair.

It’s nice that Charbroil is compensating grill owners on top of providing a fix. You don’t always see that from recalled products.

The recall impacts grills sold from October of 2025 to December of 2025. They’ll have date codes of 2510, 2511, or 2512. The grills were both the full-size and the tabletop models in Black, Red, Blackout, and Emerald. They were sold both in stores and online with model numbers 25302145 to 25302163.

More information can be found at the CPSC. Charbroil also has a webpage setup to register grills impacted by the recall.
