Construction Resources Continue M&A Growth with Acquisition of Fuse Specialty Appliances & Plumbing

Construction Resources has been actively scaling their luxury indoor and outdoor retail platform. The design destination announced that they have acquired Fuse Specialty Appliances & Plumbing, a luxury appliance and plumbing distributor in South Florida.

They have seven showrooms with locations in Naples, North Palm Beach, Boca Raton, Fort Lauderdale, Miami, Sarasota, and Fort Myers. In the outdoor kitchen category, they carry brands such as Coyote, Lynx, Big Green Egg, Alfresco, Blaze, Twin Eagles and others.

We are incredibly proud to partner with Fuse Specialty Appliances & Plumbing. What attracted us most to Fuse was our shared dedication to a customer-first culture and their unparalleled expertise in luxury appliances and plumbing. We are committing to supporting their talented team and investing in their growth, ensuring they continue to be the premier destination for builders, designers, and homeowners in Florida.

Mitch Hires, CEO of Construction Resources

Important leadership will remain with Construction Resources after the transaction, including Tim Brohawn, Mike Robertson, and Alexa Warner. Terms of the transaction were not made public.

We are exceptionally proud of the reputation Fuse Specialty Appliances & Plumbing has built across South Florida. Joining the Construction Resources family is an exciting milestone that will fuel our next phase of growth. Most importantly, our core team and leadership remain in place, ready to provide the same specialized knowledge and exceptional service our customers have come to expect.

Construction Resources is a platform to watch in the outdoor living space. They were acquired by The Home Depot in 2023 to capture more of the Pro market. That means they have capital and strong leadership behind them.

They have been rapidly expanding organically and inorganically. In addition to this acquisition, they acquired The Jarrell Company at the start of the year, another luxury appliance, plumbing, and lighting distributor. On the organic growth side, Construction Resources plans to open a Dallas design center in 2027 at The International.
