Manufacturing and distribution costs continue to rise as material, labor, and fuel prices aren’t slowing down. To keep up with elevated levels of inflation, two companies in the live-fire industry have sent a note to customers that they plan to raise costs.
Gozney
Through the years, Gozney has continued to play with pricing as they’ve released new products and to keep up with economic pressures. One thing they’ve been consistent on though is they are transparent when they plan to do a price increase.
Being transparent about price increases can create a level of trust with customers at the risk of turning some potential customers off. It also can drive demand similar to running a sale but without having to discount.
They sent out an email to their customers that they are increasing prices on their propane Gen 2 Dome oven to be in line with the natural gas version. Currently, the propane model is $200 cheaper at $2,299. They updated price with take effect on August 1st.
Breeo
Breeo hasn’t raised their prices since 2022, when inflation was really high coming out of the Pandemic. Breeo’s Co-Founder and CEO, Amos Stoltzfus, mentioned this in his note to customers announcing that they plan to raise prices.
Most of Breeo’s products are manufactured in Lancaster, PA, so they have been insulated some from the tariff rollercoaster that has been happening over the past year and change. They still have cost increases though much like any other business operating today.
If you’re going to hear this from anyone, it should be me: this summer we’re raising our prices for the first time since 2022.
You all have trusted us with your backyards and deserve a straight answer on why. Almost everything that makes a Breeo a Breeo is made right here in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. We design it, fabricate it, finish it, and ship it ourselves. That’s always been the point. Owning every step of the process is what lets us put our name on our products with confidence and get it from our backyard to yours without cutting corners along the way.
That kind of ownership isn’t cheap and the cost of doing it right has gone up. We held the line as long as we could and through major historical moments, but this increase is the honest cost of keeping the standard where it belongs.
Four years is a long time between price increases, and we’re proud of that. The product is the same. The people making it are the same. And our commitment to building something worth every dollar you spend hasn’t changed one bit.
The price change will be effective Tuesday July 7, 2026 at noon, so if you or a friend have been debating getting something, we wanted to give you all a chance to get in and order beforehand.
Thanks for being part of this with us.

Pricing Risk
For businesses, it’s both a good time and a bad time to raise prices. There are so many businesses continuing to raise prices that consumers aren’t shocked by a price increase.
Like businesses that are stretched, consumers are also feeling the heat from inflation and other macroeconomic factors. There’s the reality that business need to raise prices to stay afloat, but it’s at odds with how much consumers can bear before they cut back on discretionary spending even more.
The major retailers have discussed the K-shaped economy where higher income households are still spending. Breeo and Gozney are both at the premium end of their respective categories, so they may have more latitude for price increases.
