A flagship is best model that a company offers. It’s usually aspirational, and often helped build the overall brand. Chevy leads with their Corvette, while the 911 is the iconic Porsche model.
For recteq, the grill that helped build it all for them is literally called the Flagship. They might lose points for naming creativity, but they make up for it with the capabilities of the grill.
They’ve now made their Flagship even bigger and better with the release of the new Flagship 1600 pellet grill. It stays true to what people love about the model, but adds improved features, extra space, and extra racking.

More Space
The Flagship 1600 offers tons of space and not just grilling space. It has three grill racks and enough space three whole briskets or 16 racks of ribs.
Beyond grilling though it has tons of space in the pellet hopper. It will fit an impressive 40 pounds of wood pellets in the grill.
That’s two whole bags of pellets, giving you over 40 hours of cooking. That’s almost two full days on non-stop cooking for those that have the stamina.
More Heat
People love recteq grills for the amount of stainless steel they use on all their grills and because of the large temperature range. The Flagship 1600 carries that torch with smoking as low as 180 degrees F on up to grilling at 700 degrees F.
With other pellet grills, you’re lucky to have a max temperature over 500 degrees F, leaving people to call them “pellet smokers”. With 700 degrees of heat though, there’s no doubt about it, you’re grilling.
More Tech
The last way that the new Flagship 1600 has been improved is on the tech side. It features recteq’s latest controller that has a nice looking display. It doesn’t only look good, it will hold temperature with 5 degrees F of what it’s set at.
It of course connects via WiFi to your phone. You can control and monitor your cook from anywhere with the recteq app. This lets you cook delicious barbecue without sacrificing your whole day to do it.
