Is Char-Broil Working on New Grills Called the FIRECRAFT SERIES and CENTERBOX?

Char-Broil has had some innovative grill releases recently with the Cruise gas grill and the EDGE electric grill. They also have a patent out there for a combination offset/pellet smoker and a trademark for another electric grill. Are they also working on new grills called the FIRECRAFT SERIES and CENTERBOX?

According to trademark filings, Char-Broil has trademarked both names under the “Barbecue grills; Barbecue smokers” category. There was a pellet grill company called FireCraft that went out of business a few years ago, but this is completely unrelated.

It’s worth noting that Char-Broil owns both Oklahoma Joe’s and SABER grills. They acquired the smoker company Oklahoma Joe’s in 1998 and formed SABER in 2011 as a premium grill brand. We’re unable to tell from the trademark filing which brand FIRECRAFT SERIES and CENTERBOX would fall under if they ever see market.

We’re excited to see potential new grills being developed by Char-Broil. We’ll keep following these releases as we get more information.
